Jingle Sparkles
Hello Kindergartens! My name is Jingle Sparkles and I am a classroom Scout Elf. I arrived in your classroom just after the Christmas Concert ended tonight. I am in your classroom to watch over you and make sure that you are following all the rules at school. Then I will report back to Santa each night and let him know how each of you are doing. Each day before you come to school check the blog and I will post a picture of where I am so that you can try to figure out where I am hiding. Once you look at my picture make a comment letting everyone know where you think I am! When you get to school we will see if you were right!
Here is my first picture. Can you guess where I am?
Love, Jingle Sparkles

Hannukah
We are learning about celebrations and starting today Jewish families around the world are celebrating Hannukah. Please listen to this song with me so we can talk about Hannukah and some of the special celebrations we have in our own families. Please make a post telling about a celebration in your family.

Our Tree in Fall
Last week we went out to visit our tree. We saw that the leaves had changed color. We also noticed that many of the leaves are falling off. When we went outside we had to wear warmer clothes because the temperature is getting cooler. We wore jackets and pants and sneakers. We love our tree in the fall!
If you would like, write a post telling us what your favorite thing to do in fall is.

Remembrance Day
Yesterday we all took time to think about how thankful we are that we live in a safe, peaceful country. Here are some things we have done this week to show that we remember!

Making Letters!
We are using all sorts of materials around the classroom to make letters. Use something at home to make a letter, take a picture and e-mail it to Mrs. Russell. Then, write a post telling what letter you made and what you used to make it. After a few weeks Mrs. Russell will make a slideshow of all the neat ways we are practicing making our letters at home and we can post it on the blog.
Daniel and Luke used straws and connectors to make the letter T.
