Making Letters!

We are using all sorts of materials around the classroom to make letters. Use something at home to make a letter, take a picture and e-mail it to Mrs. Russell. Then, write a post telling what letter you made and what you used to make it. After a few weeks Mrs. Russell will make a slideshow of all the neat ways we are practicing making our letters at home and we can post it on the blog. Daniel and Luke used straws and connectors to make the letter T.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This week we are learning about Thanksgiving and we will be talking about all the things that we are thankful for. Please write a post telling us what you are thankful for. This song has some great ideas that might help you!

Our Shoeboxes

This week we took home our special shoeboxes. Our shoeboxes are a place for all the little books that we will be using to "Read the Words". Please help me to find a special place to keep my shoebox so that I can read to someone everynight!

Special Stuffie Day

Our Tree In The Summer

We made our first visit to our classroom tree in mid September. We will visit our tree in every season to talk about how it grows and changes. What do you notice about how our tree looks in the summer?
